Welcome to Wemigo! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Wemigo app, website (www.wemigo.com), and any services provided through them, including meetups, events, and experiences (collectively, “Services”).
By using Wemigo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the app or attending events. We may update these Terms at any time—continued use means you accept the most recent version.

1. What is Wemigo?
Wemigo is a community platform designed to help people build meaningful friendships through weekly curated small group meetups and local social events. We match members based on availability, vibe, and feedback to make repeat connection easier and more natural over time.
By signing up, members can:

Be part of a welcoming, platonic, and supportive space

2. Who Can Join
To use Wemigo, you must:

Be 18 years or older

Provide accurate information when creating your account

Use the platform only for its intended purpose: friendship, not dating or promotion
We reserve the right to remove users who violate these terms.

3. Free Trials, Memberships & Billing
Free Trial: Some users may start with a 7-day free trial, which includes access to meetups and events. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected membership will auto-renew.
Memberships: Wemigo memberships are billed automatically based on the selected plan (monthly or 3-months). Members can pause or cancel anytime before the next billing cycle. Membership gives access to group meetups, exclusive events, rewards, and in-app features.
Booking Fees: Some events (including weekly meetups) require a small, fully refundable booking fee. This fee is returned automatically if you attend or cancel at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or last-minute cancellations may forfeit the fee to respect hosts, venues, and fellow members.
Refund Policy: Refunds are not issued for unused time during a billing period, except in rare cases at Wemigo's discretion. If you experience an issue, contact support@wemigo.com.

4. Community Guidelines
Wemigo is a platonic-first platform built on trust, safety, and respect. By joining, you agree to our Community Guidelines including (but not limited to):

Kindness is mandatory. Be respectful of all people and perspectives.

No flirting, dating, or romantic behavior. Wemigo is not a dating app.

Show up or let us know. If you RSVP, follow through—or cancel in advance.

No self-promotion. Keep the focus on genuine connection.

Speak up if something feels off. You can report an issue in your feedback, in-app, or by emailing us.

Strike 1: Formal warning

Strike 2: Temporary suspension or request to skip an event

Strike 3: Permanent removal
Serious issues (e.g., harassment) may lead to immediate removal.

5. Event Participation & Media Use
By attending a Wemigo meetup or event, you agree to the following:
Image Rights: Photos and videos may be captured and used for Wemigo’s social media, website, or marketing. If you do not wish to appear in any content, you must inform a team member before the event. Otherwise, you grant Wemigo permission to use your image.
Your Responsibility: Wemigo facilitates group matching and events but does not vet every participant beyond basic account setup. Use your best judgment in interactions. We are not liable for actions of members or incidents during or after events.

6. Account Suspension or Removal
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove a user for:

Repeated no-shows

Violating our Community Guidelines

Disrespectful or harmful behavior

Misuse of the platform (e.g., dating, selling, harassment)
If your account is removed, you will not be eligible for a refund.

7. Platform Availability
We may update or discontinue features, events, or services at any time without notice.
We do our best to provide a great experience—but we can’t guarantee perfect matches or flawless performance. Wemigo is a dynamic, evolving platform and we appreciate your feedback as we grow!
